I have been in the internet marketing business for over ten years but it took me six tries before I found the right business, an ebook store. I started out with a craft site. The site was beautiful and back then I was such a Newbie, I thought all I had to do was put up the site and wait for orders! Boy, did I learn from that mistake. ;-) Next I tried a very old and reputable direct sales company. The products were great but I wanted my own business, not just selling for a "mother" company. Then I started an internet marketing resource/information site and ezine. I did pretty well with this but ended up having to sell. I then started a similar business but realized it still wasn't what I was looking for. So then, came a home decor gift distributorship. This did well too but after putting a few ebooks on my site and then having them do so well, I opened up an ebook store. Soon after, because the ebook store took off so well, I had to close my home decor business and concentrate completely on my ebook store. The ebook store has now been doing very well for over three years! So, if this story tells you anything, let it be to not give up! If one business turns out to be the wrong one, keep looking for that right one because once you find it, the rewards out number the frustrations and setbacks by far!
